and somewhat the top talk of the PS3 Games on the net.

So Heavy Rain What Is It a rare small portion of people may ask:

the game revolves around a sophisticated plot and strong narrative threads that explore a complex moral proposition. You assume the role of multiple characters, with very different backgrounds, motivations and skills, in a world shaped by Bending Storylines - a dynamic narrative design where your actions and decisions will shape your story.

Sounds Well, Interesting I would say.
Not your everyday Game,

Could it become repetitive or boring over time.

Your thoughts on this game. and are you getting it?

The first time I'd even heard of it was the dynamic theme:

Since then I've had a look at some ingame video and trailers. And it looks VERY good.
It could, (stress) could, put even the vaunted Uncharted 2 to shame. Graphically it does look amazing, gameplay? Who knows until it's out?
The problem is, it's constantly raining, and it might spoil some of the details, but we dont have long to wait, it's due out in Spring.

I've been watching this game for a while. I've never been super-enthusiastic about it, but it looks interesting...especially as the wife might quite like it. But I read this good IGN article yesterday, and given the awesome releases coming up, it has fallen down the list somewhat. Not off the list, but it's not going to be a priority. Yet.

IGN gave it a 9...I haven't read the review yet though...

Just tried the demo, and quit out of boredom. First off I selected tutorial from the menu, then started the demo and did the exact same thing as I did in the tutorial. WTF was the point of that? The walking around is pretty tedious, but the fight was quite cool - although you can't enjoy the scenery as you're basically waiting for input cues.

Then I visited the crime scene as the FBI guy. The glasses were quite cool, but I got bored wandering around the crime scene. I found a couple of clues - but the screen was basically black except when a guy in a reflective coat walks by. So I went back to my car and it kept showing me whatever I was supposed to have found.

But I preferred to quit and delete rather than trudge back to attempt to find whatever it was in the dark. Not for me this game - not with Bioshock 2 in the drive, AvP and Battlefield on order...

I did'nt want to say anything until everyone had a chance to play the demo, but yes... it's boring.
I found looking for clues to be the worst part, just walk around, use the glasses, find a clue. Rinse and repeat for 5 minutes.
I do however like the fact that each time you play it, you can do something different, like talking to the Prossie, different interactions brings a different result.
In the end though, you always get the same information, just a bit more of it. But nothing that helps.

I can't wait, the demo was fucking awesome! Kicking the shit out of some John in a whore's apartment was the best part! :ninja:
