HD Video Encoder

I need a hd encoder
I've got some caps, but at 3minutes long and 800mb+ they're a bit too big to host, so I need a decent video encoder that will keep the same resolution, but reduce the bitrate.

I'm just uploading a clip now, looks naff, but it's only because I wanted to reduce the file size, it's still 150mb.
There must be better encoders out there, look at all the HD video's of killzone, great quality, low file size.
It's a damn shame we cant utilize all that power of the ps3's CPU, I could encode I could encode in less than half the time and find which setting is best.

I am doing, does'nt look as good, too dark. But it does have HD now though, saves space and BW.
