Permanent Lan Party

I've often thought of setting up a gaming shop with a few PC's, Egg Boxes, and PS3's in a corner so people can play against/with one another and possibly demo some games.
Now Dr. Solomon helps out at Ignite Network in Chicago. They (I think) are only open at certain times, but how cool would it be if they opened like a gaming store and still operated like a LAN party.
But if you could get some sponsorship from the likes of EA or Activision, and then throw in some hardware vendors... you could run major competitions.
It's all a daydream, but I think it'd be fucking cool if I could pull it off.
