End of Watch

A brilliant film with Michael Peña and Jake Gyllenhaal giving career defining performances. Hard I know with these two actors, both are fantastic actors but they somehow manage to shine even brighter.
Shot documentary-style, this film follows the daily grind of two young police officers in LA who are partners and friends, and what happens when they meet criminal forces greater than themselves.
This is the third time I've seen it and I'm not even close to being bored with it. In fact, it's an hour and forty five minutes long, but it felt like twenty minutes, really really worth a watch.
