The pebble watch that went nuclear on kickstarter looks like it might get some competition from... Apple. Yes the company that can't think of a good idea of their own sent the cat burglars to the Pebble office and is thinking of creating their own range of smart watches.

To be fair the iOS smart watch will probably look much more polished and sell by the shit load. But the android Pebble will be the better one to have overall.

thats the annoying thing though, apple will take the idea, run with it and convince the world that they came up with it originally

Also let the SDK percolate and devs do their voodoo magic. It'll be running Windows XP next week

And now rumours that Samsung might be making their own smart watch.
Just goes to show that it takes small independents to come up with new creative ideas while big companies stagnate or steal. Hurray for kickstarter.
