the dual shock legacy will end with PS3 according to sony

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/38 ... n-for-ps4/

ive used lots of controllers in my life but few have felt as comfortable and natural as a Dual Shock, and they have been pretty rugged too. though i have smashed 3.

could never really get to grips with the 360 controller, i like stuff to by symetrical

Steady on - it's only an unfounded rumour, not set in stone, or even confirmed by Sony. It also doesn't mean goodbye to the dual shock - just that they may add touch or move capabilities.

I'll wait for an official Sony announcement first.

Adding unobtrusive options to a standard controller is all good IMO except that it will a) increase the price of replacing the controllers (it already cost me around £70 to replace a pair of dual controllers) and b) will go unused probably in multi-plat games.

Apparently the touch controls work well on Vita for fine tuning aiming and things... I've not used them myself though.
