Seeing as my old thread vanished when the forums broke I thought id make a new one.

This game looks amazing and im glad to see they have reached their initial goals! I personally donated $35 (£22) to get my copy of the game when it comes out.. also gives me alpha.beta access.

The pure scope of this game gets me excited and any Eve players (im looking at you Sy) should get excited about it also.

I can't wait until the Alpha goes live. I am very excited.

So they managed to raise $6.3 million.. which is the largest crowdfund for any game in history.. Roll on 2014..

The only problem I see is that with so many backers, that means so many Alpha testers. This could be an issue. Have they said anything about resources such as mining or salvaging? I primarily mined and created ships in EvE.

Salvaging was mentioned on a live stream, and I think mining is also in the game.. lets hope mining isnt as mind numbing as it is in eve..

Agreed. Sitting there and having you lasers beam a rock was so monotonous.
