TV smoothing - discussion + new section

just a thought we could have a new section on home entertainment tech? TV's? hi-fis etc.

now onto the main thing. my tv has a smoothing feature as in it adds extra frames to make things seem smoother and more akin to natural movement, its a bit odd for me at first since ive never had it before, its playing games its most disorienting. now i know Chris uses it but what about the rest of you? if you have the feature?

For watching movies it's great, but like you said, for gaming it's horrible.

Tech section...
Hmm, TV's, hifi, speakers, Sky, Cable. Anything else?

funny thing is though daz when i turned it off i noticed how jerky the game could be

or maybe its the tv playing tricks on me.....

Yeah it does improve the quality of the image and framerates, but I found it causes input lag.
