you know it's funny, but last week I actually looked on ebay from some of the old Game'and'Watch games. They're amazingly cheap!
I was so tempted.

it really brought a smile to my face remembering these, the hours of fun you could get out of them.

kids really dont know what they've got.

The thing about these was they couldn't rely on graphics or marketing to pull them through. They had to, you know, make actual good games :)

kids would laugh at them now, but back then these were revolutionary. Plus they were all we had.

i've still got astro wars and the tomy racing...

I swopped some star wars figures for the tomy racing when i was a kid.
A collector offered me 400 quid for the astro wars a few years ago.. but i kept it anyway.

funny thing is that the starwars figures'd worth more, especially if they were still in the packaging.

We had loads of Star Wars figures (not packaged), but we spent one Saturday chopping them up with an axe. It was awesome fun, but who knew we were doing ourselves out of hundreds of £s...?

Who knew? Someone did. Back then would would have called them sad, now we call them informed lucky bastards who had the foresight to save their toys.

lol in the 80's though they were worth what u paid for them a couple o quid.

But yeah star wars collections these days go for insane prices.

at pud with astro wars; they are not worth much now since the internet came along, but to mnually find them a few years back would of been a great sale.
