Woke up to find my PC is dead as a dodo today.
I suspect it's the PSU, at least I hope it's that and nothing else.

Told u in teamspeak to get a good psu, remember?

which is exactly why I bought a 700watt OCZ PSU when I upgraded!

So I took the PSU back to CCL, they put it on a CPU tester, it was fine.
So I dug deep and bought a new mobo.
Came home, fit it, tested it, it worked, shut the PC down to re-arrange the cabling, and it was dead again.

Went back to the shop with the PC this time... it was fine! FFS what the hell is going on?

Came home (30 minutes ago) and it's working again.

Fucking utterly bizarre.

I once too had a problem with a PC. I brought it to the store and magically the problem was gone, until I was back home and the problem returned.
The same happens with health issues and doctors. I think they're both hexed and have magically shielded their shop/office against head hurting issues. It's all about e-peen these days, if you don't know how to fix something you're a nobody!

Late last night I noticed one of my drives wasn't working.
I opened the back of the case and saw that the power cable was not quite on right, only 3 pins made the connection, one was just hanging off.

Re-attached the cable and it worked.

I think this might've been the problem all along.
