What shows would you consider unmissable?
I don't watch a lot of TV, but I do have some favourites.

1. American Guns, a new show on discovery (well 2nd series new)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2083423

2. Gold Rush (discovery again, I like my brain feeds)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1800864

3. Bike racing, motoGP, WSB, BSB as and when they're on

4. The colony, I've seen this a half dozen times, both season one and two. How to survive and end of the world scenario. Season 1 is better than 2, but both are excellent.

if you've got something to say, say it. Don't just post stupid pictures.

I was lamenting the the strange absence of Game of thrones or The walking dead from any of your guys posts.

Picture speaks a thousand words and all that.

American Guns? We've got a few similar shows on Discovery Channel. I really despise them. TV is filled with these American pawn programs lately. One show is more painstaking to watch than the other.

Now Discovery started broadcasting about a show with Rednecks playing in mud. These programs all show such a single characteristic of an American that if I didn't know any better I would give Al-Quada all my money to get rid of them. Good thing I do know better and I can chance the channel to something with a bit more IQ. The only times I do watch Discovery these days is for things like "How it's made". I would watch National Geography Channel more often but they have long and horrible commercials, they're pretty much filled with online Casino adds.

Most TV shows I follow I get off the internet, without commercials, and they're recent. Unlike on TV we get to see stuff from 10 year old rerun daily.

Then just say that, a monkey putting his head into his hands doesn't say Game of Thrones or the walking dead to me.

Agree 100%
I've even stopped watching American Guns. Its too staged and wooden.
Gold rush Alaska is very good. I just hope they actually get enough to break even in season 3. They work damned hard for it.
Dakota Fred was a fool to buy the stake from under them, then mine somewhere else entirely, just as they hit paydirt too.

I've watched Gold Rush but like any other American "reality" show they feel too much staged. They probably have to exaggerate a lot just to get their emotions across. Also, I really don't like to watch a few fat guys with neckbeards saying fuck every few words for an hour.

I'm currently watching American Horror Story season 2. Season one was pretty screwed up. The first few episodes require a bit of patience as it might take a while to pick up the story but after a few in, once you know what's going on you'll be hooked.
Season 2 is a new story al though it shares some of the actors from season 1 which might be a bit confusing at first.

I've also been following The Walking Dead since the start. But I can't help ponder why I still watch it. The intro always shows some tight stuff but after the title it comes down to a crawl. People start making mistakes, totally ruining the immersion from the intro. Then at the last 10-15 minutes it ends in a huge exciting moment that wants you watch the next episode. I hope Lori dies soon enough. I hate that actress and her character compared to the comics. Andrea is also pretty butchered character wise.

I've only seen season one, the Franklin Expedition

But it's damn good, but very gory, so definitely not for the kids
