This is 2 years old...why hasn't this tech gone ballistic unless it's a hoax? Even roadside adverts using this would attract attention.
The principle looks sound, although you'd need some heavy duty computing power behind it probably.

Hoax? There are even DIY mechanical rotating 3d displays if I remember correctly built using LEDs.
