Easy Macro photography for iPad

I was just messing around this morning with my iPad camera and seeing how close I could get to an object before the picture lost focus.
Not very close, about 6 inches at best. So the iPad really is pants for macro photography, hell it's not that good at photography at all. Most pictures come out with compression artifacts anyway, but I wont be beaten!
I have this magnifying glass that I use for looking at tiny objects, and it has an added bonus of having some LED lighting too, even better for macro's as it adds much needed light. So I placed the magnifying glass over the iPad lens and retook the photo's: this is as close as I could get before the image deteriorated. So there you go, quick and easy hack for iPad macro photography.
The Magnifying glass cost around £5.00 from maplin electronics
