I've just got one today, I sold my HTC Desire HD just before Christmas because I was broke, I'd just got back from a month long holiday in Canada and needed some cash. Selling the phone helped.

Shortly after I bought a cheap ass iPhone 3 (Not 3GS) and compared to HTC phones it's absolutely shite.

So to put the monster (technophile) to bed I bought this phone from Asda @ £229.00 just about the cheapest on the t'internet. And now I'm in love with my phone again.

You remember the advert where a guy is ashamed of his phone and runs away from it, and a high street shop sells him a new one, well that was me, I was ashamed of my iPhone. Dont get me wrong, I love iDevices, but the iPhone 3 was pants in every possible aspect.

So whats so cool about the HTC Evo 3D? Well if the name of the phone doesn't give it away... it's a 3D phone.
The menu's and what not are all 2D, but the photo and video camera is 3D and it rocks my world.

Last year I dabbled with 3D Tv's but after 3 faulty units I gave up.
Now the phone is never going to be as big or replace the TV, but it's still niceto have the option of 3D photo's and video. Also thanks to the short time I had a 3D TV, I had a few blu-ray films to convert for my phone.

1. Tron Legacy - Amazing in 2D, even better in 3D
2. Piranha - Crap film, but Kelly Brook in 3D is too much for any man to resist.
3. Cloudy with a chance of meatballs - Kids film but still very entertaining.

But what about the 3D pics and video?
Well youtube have added 3D uploads, search for
yt3d:enable=true
As for the pics, there really isn't or wasn't a site for them. Until now.

A really great guy called Phil opened a brilliant site called 3DPorch, check it out, and if you have a 3D camera of any kind, it's definately worth registering and possibly even going for a gold subscription @ $9.99
Go for it, I love the site, and I'm seriously in love with my new phone, a phone I'll take everywhere and use extensively.

@KK yes m8e it's got a 3D screen but it's a higher resolution than the 3DS and 3D movies work fine.

@Sy thats me, I can save like mad for a month or two until the next gadget comes along.

Time to start saving again!
