If a new Monster Hunter game appears on it and the price drops significantly.

I'd like one, but not at those prices. Then the games prices are also far too steep.

I also think Sony took the wrong route with touch input, they should have gone 3D instead.

A wasted opportunity, now all Apple have to do is launch 3D iPhones and iPads to slay the Sony monster.

But IF i were to buy one, it'd be the 3G version.

you dont need a 3g version why buy something you need to pump more money into. you are already saying the price is to steep but you are willing to pay for 3g every month to do what update facebook. you cannot play games on the go over the network 3g does not allow that. and yes i agree that the uk needs to price drop to north american relitive pricing because i think it was priced right. if you where dumb enough to waste money on an overpriced ipad this is clearly worth the coin.

oh and ps. 3D on handhelds look sstupid and pointless on a screen so small hence why i never used it on 3ds.

There is no contract for the 3G version, and only vodaphone are offering a Pay as you go sim.

So Vita 3G really doesn't add to monthly running costs, plus I can call three and get a new sim for free on my current contract.

It's all about options. I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Sony have being pushing 3D down our throats for well over 12 months, so why not take the oppottunity to bring into the world a decent handheld with 3D?

As they have said time and time again the 3ds was pointless to have 3d yeah it looked cool but the eye strian on such a small screen is to much. My eyes would hurt after half an hour and i stare at a 3d screen all the time i will play for hours and watch movies on my 3d tv with no problems its all about screen size and being comfortable. If they added 3d it would have been a gimmicky feature that most people would use once and never use again cause the screen is so small.

not for me....it looks alright but it's not really of any use to anyone if you own a console, really it's just a fad... i bet u a tenner in year you'll be like vita what?

psp's were all the rage once but you hardly hear about anything to do with them these days.

I played on my brother's today, and frankly it's put me right off, despite me not really being "on" in the first place...

Wipeout looks good, but just doesn't feel great: I'm convinced the airbrake just flat out doesn't work.

Super Stardust looks awesome, and the new bosses are cool, but they've completely fucked up the boost to the point where I deliberately won't use it because it makes you stop first.

I'm not a fan of the firmware either, and trophies are hugely anti-climactic.

My PSP is much more preferable.
