Just been into town (Halifax)

I went there for a tiny bit of Christmas shopping and came home with a sandwich.
There's nothing there anymore, poundlands and the like but little else.

row of shops are shut with vacancy signs everywhere... even the offices above have for sale/let signs on them.

WTH is going on? Just a few days before Christmas an Halifax used to be buzzing. Not any more. Even most of the pubs and clubs are shut down, and Halifax used to be a party town.

Yup, Its all i have been hearing from Customers.

Should we extend our Lease and continue going,
How are all your other customers finding it.

Simple Terms from over 600 Company's we support.
I dont think one of them have said its boombing.

Some have had a little rush, but not a Xmas rush.
And i can see after this Xmas some MAJOR sales or some Major companys going down under.

Running sales compairson figures on Customers Machines compairing from Last year is painful to see!! and i really do feel sorry for them.

And our Town is like a ghost town, i walked up on Late night shopping LOL!! only a few shops still standing and open.

God knows what the new year will bring.

I've been hearing rumours over the weekend that the Euro will fall around the new year.

Then shit will hit the fan. Most of the meetings in Europe were not about prevention but about how to subdue civil unrest.

Just a rumour???
