what do you think now you've had a bit of time to play.
Controls are a bit naff, it'll take a little time to get used to.
But overall, what's your opinion?

Controls online is a bit better than on skirmishing which is fucked anyway, b ut stil fucking lag on the controller is unacceptable. Why the fuck they did not include option, want weighty feel/don't fucking want weighty feel. There is a reson they didnt have option, probably some fuck up that PS3 cannot handle, if not, then they are a bunch of fucking retards and this is even more disappointing. Anyway, if BFBC gets laggy again I will play killzone..or COD4, I am not enjoying it atm.

kz2 is a great game, it aint brilliant , it has its shortcomings but fun nevertheless

cod4 for me is the benchmark, quick, intuitive, responsive controls

bfbc has the fun element, you feel like you are in a war, you dont in kz2

now a combination of all three would be awseome

I dunno,
I am no traitor, but the novelty of Killzone has warn off quick,
after I hit top rank, and i working through the ribbons and it keeps failing after all the hard work,
I get board quick,

and as Killzone_kid says the lag on the controls is a fucking pain in the ass.

Seddon I am still a BFBC guy :-)

Like you said BFBC you feel you in a war, and you can use Proper Tactics to overtake flags,
or destroy someone gold box.

Killzone 2 is like a Massicare, there is very very little skill involved most is down to pure luck,
if you overtake a flag then you have 32 players in one place fighting it out, because its soo small,
But the objectives are great

BFBC you have the space to move around, be sneaky, have multiple ways of getting somewhere, and you can use the sniper properly :p

I aint going to stop playing, but the consept of the game is not enough to keep
people fixated on it as much as BFBC.

See you on there tonight tho lol

I know what you are all saying and I'm sure I will get bored of it when the novelty wears off, but forget about the 32 player games they are a waste of time (unless you have 2 clans playing properly)
what you need (and what I enjoy most) is a small gathering of mates trying to out do each other on medium maps.
Last night was a right laugh, in my opinion.- Me & Seddon vs Daz and KK, alright KK wasn't having fun but he held his own at points.-
anyway, we were doing search and destroy and Me and S walked over those two daydreamers and blew the first c4's no probs
- then it was their turn, I honestly dont know what seddon was up to but I keot seeing him get the odd kill, meanwhile I planted turrets near the target
(I dont have air support yet or Stealth OR Boost !! I've only just got my rocket launcher)
sat back and waited for the boys to arrive. Which they did, but I changed my stance every time - placing turrets at different places, sitting on stairs and moving up and down checking out where they were on radar - then only popping back onto their level when it was too late - bang!
OK they got me a few times but the time it took for them to blow the strategically placed turrets and charge the c4 gave me ample opportunity to run back and blow them to bits.
I laughed my tits off so much last night.

So its who you play with (oo-er) not how many you can get into a room.
God knows how the 64 (or is it 60) player malarky is going down on Resistance 2?

:slow:

That option would cause a huge balance issue, on a par with allowing people to use a usb keyboard and mouse instead of a controller.

I'm with Coda: stay away from 32 player games, there's way more fun (and ironically, score) to be had in 8 or 16 player matches. Less is definitely more with this game.

The 60 player stuff on Resistance didn't feel any different to a 32 player game to be honest. Mainly because the game did a good job of keeping teams apart on different objectives. It was a bit of a pain in the arse if your objective required you to move through another squad's hotzone though.

You're cruising for a bruising mate.

I'm not full rank (I said RANK) and I can still hold my own. (ask Daz)
:D

Not sure when I can get on next but I'll buzz ya.

whats your PSN tag?

Sodapop, you're spot on with the numbers, thats why clan games are 8v8 or 4v4 or even 2v2
The maps are mostly small-medium with only 2 realy big ones. So really, it's made for 16 players only.
But it is fun coming top on 32 player maps and hardly doing anything other than medding, and using the sniper rifle, and C4 when I get it.

Daz for fucks sake stop it with the girlie images...
1) - I'm getting worked up at work!!
2) - I get odd looks from people at work when they see nothing but shiny booty on my screen!
3) - Lynda is sometimes here and I have to hide all the rude pics

:)
