The Alexa toolbar (Firefox) posts news throughout the day, and it's sometimes relevent, sometimes amusing, sometimes boring.
Yesterday the link was disturbing, it took me to a news article about a Judge in Arkansas Called William Adams, who took 2 different belts to his 16 year old daughter, who also has ceribal paulsy.

Why did he do this? Because she downloaded games (probably flash based) and music. I can only assume the music was illegal, but this twat probably doesn't know the difference between legal and illegal anyway, I think he just enjoys beating the shit out of his daughter.

This is obviously not the first time he did this, this time the girl was prepared with a camera and recorded the grusome beating.

In just less than a week it's had well over one million views, and the internet (he obviously hates cyberspace) has taken this case to heart, and this prick will loose his job, and hopefully his freedom. If neither happen, he's definitely a marked man.

i cant watch that sort of stuff cause it upsets me, now i got the odd clout or clip when i was a little shit but nothing like that. i personally think a little clip is alright but proper smacking is OTT

A proper smack is ok if it's justified, but that is not a proper smack. That is an over the top beating, and probably the parents unloading pent up stress and tension in the wrong direction (don't forget the mother was getting involved too - to the point where the father had to get another belt).

That child is a victim and kudos to her for realising it. If it's all she's ever known, it would be hard to realise it's wrong. Hopefully she can break the cycle and won't do it to her kids...

He's been suspended from his job as a judge.
The wife left him, he;s filed to take care of the younger daughter, and he did work as a family judge.
No doubt all the cases he's worked on in the past will be reviewed too.

There's more too, this was filmed in 2004, and was released once the girl was no longer a minor and left the house.
The mother was also subject to abuse and left her husband who then continued with threatening emails and texts.

I dont even like smacking children, it's more to do with the adults anger rather than teaching a lesson. But some people think a slapped hand or leg is more than enough... so be it, but this is simply psychological and phsyical abuse.

If you read that news link just after watching the video, she looks even worse. One minute he's off to get another belt because she has his, then the next minute she's also the abused victim? Doesn't add up.

The local police department have decided NOT to press charges against child beating judges.
