Battlefield 3 Tips -- How to play a better game

1. It's early yet, but try to get to know the maps. Knowing where you are is half the battle.
2. Squad Spawn. When you do spawn on a squad member be ready for fight or flight. There's nothing worse than jumping onto a squad member and dying instantly, but if you look at the spawn screen you might get an idea that they are under heavy attack, if they are, wait a few seconds and see if they fight off the oppressor, and then join if you can.
3. Flight controls: They are very different from all the previous Battlefield games, but by going into the control options you change them and adjust their sensitivity
4. Support, Support, Support. If you play as assault then get ready to use the medpack and defib kit A LOT, thats what it's there for... to help your team mates. There's no point in playing as assault of you just walk past wounded or dead team/squad mates and do nothing. Also if there are a few people in front of you laying down heavy fire, stay back... heal them as and when, they'll be very grateful if you revive them. I've seen a games favour change all because a med did this, it can help your team to over run ambushers, capture points in conquest and take crates in rush.
Support class. Dish out the ammo as often as you can, you get points, ribbons and award for doing somthing simple and it only takes a second or two. If you see engineers firing rockets, then for an easy collection of points, drop them an ammo crate.
