I've never bought into it, and to me it just seems like a place where people post retarded photos of them and their mates, or hot chicks use it to fluff their egos.

But it seems more and more businesses are hopping on the bandwagon, especially in the games sector. So I'm considering it too, as I need to raise visiblity of my iPhone apps. The one game I have on there (I think) is decent, and has nothing but 5* reviews, but isn't selling due to poor visibility.

So how can I use Facebook to increase that? What is this "like" business? What other features does Facebook provide that can help in a promotional aspect?

Sy is probably your best bet, I'm just a very simple user nothing more.
