I've been getting back into Demon's Souls lately, and checking over a load of posts on the EU forum that I've neglected for time, and obviously you're a prominent poster.

I found this video of your's, where you summon a BP then fuck his slow-ass-rolling-self up.

I had to LOL at you stamping on some twat in the comments almost as hard as you stamped on the BP

So i was very pissed off when i got YLOD, I can face facts with all the other games, just Demon Souls wanted to make me smash up the PS3 with a Hammer!!

So i think i will save my efforts for this New Game thats coming out
But if States does get into it, i might consider giving it a whirl again.........

I have the Korean one I think - Asian, but in English.

How the fuck did you two get platinum? I've listed everything I need to finish it off, and there is a tonne of grinding that I'm not sure I can be arsed with...

BP NPCs are hard as fuck though, I'm finding. That one with a katana that appears in PBWT 4-1 fucked me up. Satsuma or something. He dead now though, and I have his shitty sword.

Also - did you find any melee weapon worth using other than Meat Cleaver? I've tried a few, but nothing can compare to it with it's awesome skill bonuses: Strength S, Dexterity S and another A (forget if it's Magic or Faith). It's slow to swing, but I can one hit backstab most things... and it flattens everything else so I can beat on it until I run out of stamina.

i use blueblood sword, which uses luck as the stat, so... 512 on it's own with luck at 50 and then when i add the spell light weapon it is something like 600 - so yea, bosses die in like 4 hits rofl.



Dave used double katanas (Moon) which stack with magic and i think his base weapon dmg was 486 with his magic the same sort of build he used as in my video you posted.

High magic and double katana.

As for plat, lots of man hours and then dropping each other weapons the other didn't have and vica verser.

I've got a lot I haven't seen in DS so always meant to go back to it, and all the Dark Souls hype floating around piqued my interest.

I forgot that I left it at the end of NG++ though - shit that was tough to get back into.
