Apples Conference, IOS 5, Icloud and Lion

So i dont know if any of you Follow Apple and there development much,
but they done a Big Conference yesterday, And the future looks good.
For them who have Iphone, there is some needed features i cannot wait for.
From the Notifications revamp, to a better Twitter integration.
To a buttons for your Camera to take pictures.
The list goes on!!
Anyway States I know your in the Development Program, You going to consider downloading the BETA

No - I got an email yesterday offering me the SDK 5.0 beta. 1500 APIs..! Shit that's a lot of documentation. I'm not interested in the latest and greatest features though TBH. I want to write stuff that works on the widest range of phones, and the APIs I mostly use are third party (OpenGL ES/OpenAL).
I try to keep my touchpoints with Apple's stuff minimal, because it's all Objective C based, which is effectively interpreted and therefore slower than if it's compiled.
You know all those method calls to objects? They're resolved at run time. I mean WTF? That's no basis for game engines... It might be great for retards that are incapable of making sure they're using the correct interface on the correct instance, but that's a lot of overhead to avoid problems that a compiler traditionally picks up anyway.
