I seriously hope you are kidding. Gears is the only exclusive game on the 360 that I like, and I think gears 3 is going to suck. 1 was good, and 2 was a pretty big let down, but fun.

There isnt a single person I know that is actually looking forward to gears 3.

They have been over exaggerating all their commercials and trailers and stuff. I saw things like "most anticipated beta of 2011" and other ads saying how amazing it's going to be or how you'll have to hold back your excitement.

it looks like there hasnt been very much improvement outside the MP. Even in the MP it looks just like gears 2 except with a game mode or two extra, better graphics and less lag.

I watched the video on xbox live where they were talking about everything in gears 3 beta, and I actually got mad. They were stating very obvious information, that is common throughout almost every MP, and wording it to sound "exciting"

Gears might be good, but "greatest game of all time" not even close. If you think this you must not have played any god of war games, or picked up a controller and played any uncharted games. Heck, there are tons of other games and series out there better than gears.

goldhawk1 It seems to me like you haven't even played the game yet, so who are you to judge? They haven't even showed everything about the game yet, including anything about the campaign, horde, or beast mode. Your argument is based off of a LOT of assumptions.
