I was looking on ebay earlier at PC's but I saw some rackmounted servers going for as little as £50.00

Is it feasable to setup one of these at home or is co-lo the best option... traffic is minimal, uptime is a must though.

Why do I want one? Because they're cheap as fuck.

2.6ghz CPU
2-4gig ram
30-40gig HDD

10% of your total download limit is what people would get!!

Meaning on a 10mbps connection your looking at around 100kbps upstream

Each website will be around 2-5mb in code and images.
Download burst of a single page for me is 500kbps for around 4 seconds.

In your case 2 people visit the site at the same time,
Your Net is twatted you cannot do anything at home as its being consumed by your 10% upload.
and each person would get 50kbps
based on this site loading time would be a minute or even 2

I was thinking about it because the free host I'm using for the 3D sites is crap.
I setup a redirect until I had some HTML and meta tags in place, now Now I cant stop the redirct!

I also cant get damned google adwords to work.
