i picked this gun from a kit bag kindly left by a vet when he reacted badly to a few bullets i sent his way
nice gun
i sorely tempted to shell out some cash and buy a bf title to unlock this
what is better bf2 of bf2142?

link where someone suggests d/loading bf2142 demo, playing one online match, then that will give you veteran status!
Not sure it is that easy though.

it might just be that easy, all the veteran unlock asks for is username and password.

I will wait for battlefield heros. As I mentioned before except PP2000 and XM8C none of the other weapons work well with my connection. I picked up F2000 several times and it is not that great tbh, well at least for me.

yer download the demo for 2142 create an account login, and then logout, then activate it on the vet site for bf:bc it will work.

I cant believe Hero's is going to be free, well not for me, I'd need to build a new pc for that.

no m8e, thats the EA servers for ya.
try downloading the WHOLE game. I bought mine directly from EA with EA downloader, it takes forever to get it.

cool it works
downloaded 2142 demo, created an account, attempted to join a game but it crashed!
went to veteran section of bfbc website and registered both bfbc and 2142 and get veteran rank of 1
fire up bfbc and get told i have unlocked f2000
frigging awesome man
do it everyone who ain't a vet - slow download mind you (4-5 hrs)

Me too, can't wait to try it in full. I got kicked form the server after my 2nd spawn how cool is that, fucking retards.

i've got the demo installed on vista
i get to the lobby and click join and it crashes
no worky at this end - thats a shame
been watching rushhd on sky and they been showing some 2142 competition with some top clans
