I've just completed the game and I'm shy of 1 trophy to acheive platinum: buy ALL the bad karma upgrades.
I need around 7,000 xp to get the last upgrade, but the problem is that I've completed it, I hoped beating kessler would have given me enough, but obviously not...
so does anyone have any tools to check a file for hex changes?
I want to hack the save game file to add the points, but I dont know if it'll work, is there security checking on savegame files for infamous?

God damnit! 7,000 is a big fucking deal too, 7 points per kill, 1,000 kills is a lot to acheive, it'll be quicker to replay the game AGAIN!

Yikes! No doubt the game has CRC corruption checking or something, so hacking your file may be dangerous (just keep a back up obviously lol).

I can't remember how to earn XP, but I seem to remember enemies becoming thin on the ground at the end. Do you not get XP from grinding rails and things? Else it's just a case of loading it up now and then for a rampage... Trying to do it all at once will be soul destroying.

I have an earlier savegame I could change the difficulty to easy then do it that way, at least I wont have to start from the begining.
No, grinding doesn't give you XP only killing bad guys and doing missions.

you can do it if u have a hacked ps3...have a read of nextgenupdate forums if u want to do that for a virtual trophie xD

I don't understand how you got to the end of an evil playthrough and still needed 7k XP...

Do the old fashioned way daz you little hacker you I had to for my plat.

Fewer points on HARD. I played evil on hard to get both trophies (evil finish+hard finish).
1xkill on easy=<15 points
1xkill on hard=<10 points

Plus it's harder to kill on hard so you also get far fewer combo's.

@Godric, I am playing evil on easy just until I can get the trophy, and thats it!
