I haven't tried the demo yet, but I did download it. I used to love Mortal Kombat back in uni. But to me fighting games are only good when you have mates around...the lag kills them online, and the blatant cheating AI kills them offline.
Still I'll give the demo a shot one day.

That was fun when people could be assed!! the matching up was a pain in the fucking ass!!
But when you got some games together it was a great laugh!! me and seddon pissing ourself for hours lol

Now this is one royal screw up! The developers of Mortal Kombat accidentally included the complete story of ALL characters involved in Mortal Kombat as well as special features in the DEMO code. Biographies and endings for all characters and a whole lot more are included. A text file is currently doing the rounds on various file sharing sites that reveals all!
Good old Unreal engine. Fun but short lived just like Tekken 6 was.

Nah, I think I binged my fill on MKII on the SNES back in the 90s. At uni was the perfect place for fighting games because there's people around all the time, with tinnies, reefer and trash talk. I knew every special move and every fatality for every character. Didn't know fuck all about what my lectures were about though
And TBH I wasn't hugely impressed by the demo. I didn't feel it pushed the PS3 considering it can chuck all the resource at a small environment and the character models. I was more impressed with Soul Calibre 2 on PS2.
