My Killzone2 Experienced

After playing Killzone2 lastnight (lucky me), I just wanted to share my experienced with the game.
First, Killzone2 is absolutely amazing and the game scene is more intense than the Demo. Unfortunately, the Warzone (online game) Server is still down. Guerilla might start it on the day of release (27). The only thing that you can play is the Campaign (offline) story mode. Under the campaign you can also see your game statisctics, but unfortunately you can’t upload your stats coz the Killzone Server is still down. Before you play the campaign mode you would select the difficulty level which is Recruit, Trooper, Veteran and Elite. The Elite would be only unlocked once you completed the story mode.
While playing Campaign, you should look out for Helghan Books and collect it as much as you can, it will help your team to gather intelligence against the Helghans. Also, if you see a Helghan Icon, try to shoot it coz it will give you extra bonus points.
After playing for a couple of hours (Campaign). I can say that this game totally rocks (better than the story mode of BFBC).
So here are the missions:
Corinth River (Mission1)
1. The New Sun
2. Corinth Sands
3. Stahl Arms Warehouse
4. Verdran Overlook East
5. Storm Drain 11-34C
6. Verdran Overlook West
7. Korovi’s Dam
Note: On this first mission, your opponents would be the basic rifleman. Later, on Storm Drain 11-34C (substage5) you will see the rifleman equipped with RPG. Then on Korovi’s Dam (substage7), you will gonna get the opportunity to sit with the powerful ISA Tank.
Tip: If you’re up against multiple opponents, you better used the fixed machine guns if you see one. The fixed machine gun is very powerful and multiple skirmishes would prey easily in your hands. If you’re up against RPG soldiers and you really want to be brutal, it’s better if you use the RPG (if you have one). You will see their corpse flying. While playing Korovi’s Dam (substage7) inside the ISA Tank, learn to prioritize your enemies. First thing to take out are the Helghan Tanks, they are also as powerful as yours. Second, RPG soldiers which are scattered on the 2nd floor and all over the ground. Multiple hits from their RPG make your tanks go boom. Then lastly, the assault soldiers.
Blood Meridian (Mission2)
1. Landing Zone 33
2. Dakurol Alley
3. Heavy Canal
4. Wollan’s View
5. Verudan Alley
6. Cableway Heights
7. Cableway Rooftops
Note: On Mission2, your main objective is to Destroy the Arc Tower. The Arc Tower was used by the helghast as their main primary weapons against you invading Mother Ships.
Visari Square (Mission3)
1. Prefect’s Office
2. Malik Back Alleys
3. Ostoja End
4. Union Storage Yard
5. The Square
Tip: On Mission3, you will see some booby traps that was been setup be the helghans, if you see some (laser light) don’t cross with it just shoot first the traps (sensor) and it will explode. Most of the time you are in a tight corridor with multiple doors. Learned to outflank your opponents, it will give you the upper hand. On Union Storage Yard (substage4) while defending, It’s best to defend the place using the light machine gun and be patient. On The Square (substage5), the best way to defend the entire place is to use the fixed machine guns located on your defensive perimeter area and of course be patient.
Salamun District (Mission4)
1. Canal Bank
2. Dushan Tower Courtyard
3. Dushan Loading Bay
4. Corinth Shanties
5. Substation Strongpoint
Note: There’s a lot of skirmishes on this mission and I can say one of the hardest missions that I’ve encountered, coz I died a lot of times. On Substation Strongpoint (substage5), you have to prime the charges into the pillars and detonate it.
Tip: Don’t be a hero trying to do a John Rambo style. Use the walls and rubble as an advantage and take some cover and just be patient on the shootout. On a tight corridor and rooms, using the flame thrower to your advantage is a must. On Substation Strongpoint (substage5), once you’re inside the building proceed to the 2nd floor and prime the 4 charges into the 4 center pillars. Once ready, you should rush your way outside the building and detonate it. If you detonate it while still inside, you’ll end up as part of the rubble.
Salamun Bridge (Mission5)
1. Bridge East
2. Air Defense 22-12ILC
3. Bridge West
4. Radec Academy
5. Academy Rooftop
Note: On this stage, enemies are getting smarter and they are armed with different arsenals. On Radec Academy (substage4), this is where the shootout showdown between Col. Radec’s troops (which are armed with shotguns and RPG’s) and your team (Sev, Rico, Garza and Natko). On Academy Rooftop (substage5), you will encounter the dreaded ATAC. The ATAC is like a mechanical dragonfly equipped with multiple machineguns and rockets.
Tip: On Radec Academy (substage4), prioritize your target by eliminating first the RPG soldiers. Use the rush attack tactics (fast & hard). On Academy Rooftop (substage5), don’t be a fool by shooting the ATAC directly, for sure you’ll end-up as body bag. To take it down you should first use the RPG located on the floor, then you must shoot the blue lights sensor that was located on the perimeter. If you shoot it twice (blue light sensor), the ATAC will hold still and can’t move. On this situation you have the opportunity to shoot him, you only have a couple of seconds remaining and the ATAC will fly again like crazy. Just follow these steps again and again until the ATAC turned into a roasted fly.
Suljeva Village (Mission6)
1. Badlands
Note: This was the last stage that I’ve been.
To be continued……
