PS+ Re-subscription?

Is anyone going to bother?
I feel I'm getting little to nothing for my money. The main selling point to me was reductions on store items, but what I'm finding is that they launch on the main store (where I buy them) then appear in the PS+ section reduced a few weeks later. Well that's no good to me... I want it to release at the same time in both sections.
The hour free play of full retail releases sounded good on paper. But a) there haven't been a huge number of games to try and b) I don't like the fact that you get trophies. I don't want loads of games in my list that I don't own.
As a beta tester, I get access to beta usually before they are available to PS+ subscribers anyway, and the only one I can think of was Killzone 3.
I have the auto-update option disabled because I like to leave downloads as bubbles to remind me they're there until I can be arsed to play them.
So all in all, the only thing I feel I have got out of PS+ is the Fallout 3 DLC for free. But that game bores me everytime I try to play it, and I end up playing the newest thing instead.
What are anyone else's thought on PS+ now that we are several months in?
