Geohot has lost the plot.

Geohot has updated his website to suggest that large amounts of consumers will refrain from buying a Sony TV or laptop due to their anti Ps3 hacking lawsuits. He notes - "few people consider buying a TV or laptop a moral choice, and the consumer base is quite large."
And a note to Mr Geohot, Sony's customer base is much LARGER than those with a direct interest in hacking the PS3. Also some will find it quite re-assuring that Sony looks to actively protect their sysems and support them (unlike a lot of consumer elctronic firms generally).
Speaking on his website (geohot.com), PS3/iPhone hacker Geohot has fired out a warning message to Sony that programmers and developers may no longer wish to work for them. He noted - "but talented developers are in much shorter supply, and take it from one personally, who you choose to code for is much more of a moral choice. The programmers you will one day be looking to hire are the ones reading the tech news sites right now. And they will remember."
