I see they are charging for all refurbs starting at £99 - £150 max.
And sony won't replace any 60gigs anymore.

A few complaints on the official forums tonight.

My ps3 knackered the other night, it freezes now n again, and it only seems to be more common on 60g...

Home fucked up my ps3 aswell, why shud we have to pay from now on?

I am seriusly thinking about ditching the ps3, i have 40 fucking games, 3 controllers. mic and other accesories, spent about £600 in the store and home items etc...

i could trade it all in, jump to ms, get a preimuim and trade in the rest of my games for 360 games, and then i could sell it all...lol.. im not really liking the sound of this sony poilcy, they have done it for some reason, and it must mean there is a issue with 60gigs, which they aint guna admit.

I'm in 2 minds right now.

what do u think?

You did'nt say 3 in 8months, they are obviously not of merchantable quality and therefore there is a strong case to answer.

Shit: I've got a launch day 60gb.

It hasn't had any problems yet (touch wood). The fan started getting noisey, but a vacuum cleaner round the vents sorted that.

Time to take out that £5/month policy methinks...
