The Mess Hall

As you know my ps3 is dying, and I get a replacement on tuesday, but now I can't even backup.
Just give an error and shuts down.
I knew the hdd was going, and the bluray wont spin, but not even able to backup?
I do have a backup on my pc though, so if all else fails i can use that, but it's 2 months old.

Does anyone know the process? Dont I have to deactivate this one and reactivate the new one?

in so far as backups are concerned i never backup and started over again!

when my ps3 died i couldnt deactivate it as it wouldnt boot

i just setup me existing account on the new one and redownloaded all my sh!t from the store

thats not a big problem, I can easily back my savegames, well, all but one, Motorstorm PR, it's locked to th ps3.

my singstar was locked to my old ps3

sony customer support just unlocked it, took 7 days

can they do that with mspr?

just call eu sony support i couldn;t deactivate mine wen it bricked, they sorted it out on the phone.. took about 10 seconds lmao.. best to get old one deactivated.
