From reading the Ubi forums, there appears to be a patch on the way, possibly in October. It's highly likely that it will allow friends to play 2v2 ranked (which would be sweet) and allow unlimited time unranked games. I don't know what else the patch will include, but it may also improve the annoying lag handling and maybe allow you to skip cutscenes.

The only official information is for the PC patch at the moment, which seems to mainly be addressing cheating, which I don't think it an issue on consoles? But developers post on the Ubi forum and have confirmed friends in 2v2. The other issues are hot topics and easy fixes, so it wouldn't make any sense not to get them in.

I'll try and find some one day... I spent about 5 hours trawling their forum while doing boring stuff at work on Friday, so stumbled across random bits here and here from developers and forum admins (who liase with the devs).

If I get really bored over the weekend I'll have a look again, but it's unlikely when I could be playing

not to mention the ubi forums have the most boring UI ever created lol. :sicko
