PS3 died tonight whilst playing BC2

gutted as it showed signs over the past month or so that it finally dying.

so what to do now?

Send off to Sony?
Buy a Slim, trade in some games?
Get a repair shop to fix it?

But coming from the other angle - you want it NOW! - you could trade them in, and even if you only get £3 per game, that's still £84 (and I bet you'll get that or better for sure).

But if you can wait to sell them all via eBay, Dave's suggestion is better.

im way too lazy to go through ebay which sounds stupid, but those games are the ones i never ever play anymore......i still have another 17 games, but i dont want to part with them.

i have about 120quid to spend on a slim, so if could get about the 150mark from game/gamestation then jobs a good'n.

recently cancelled our sky contract too, so im gonna be bored till i get a new one.

The min i have seen a shit title go for is like £6 most go for a min of £15 and latest games are like £25 - 30

yeah got myself a new slim within 24hours of the other one breaking, just class it that i basically paid for convinience.

lost all my game data and that, but doesnt really bother me much.

If you can fix your YLOD one so it turns on long enough, you can connect them and transfer everything across...

I got issues with the component/av slot on the back of ps3.
Might ring continous play and get a new one.. BUT!

Got so much save data especially for demons souls, i dont think i can take losing all that data again lol.

This is all at the top of my list now,

I need to save my Daemon Souls (not too fussed about the rest)
But i loose that i will cry
