EA are sucking the life out of once a great dev, DICE.

have to say i was shocked at how utterly wank it was.

the amount of times ive had to reset my console, have probably only played maybe 1/2 full games.

guns are crap
graphics are piss poor
death animations = none
awful maps
campers galore

basically is a half hearted attempt at MW2.5

in defence of this game, i think the environments are not bad and good sound but everything else is wank, too many game freezes to enjoy it, no recoil as sy says, don't like beards - preorder will be cancelled tonight - shame!

Canceled preorder. And no Sy EA doesn't suck anything out of anyone, it looks like DICE guys enjoy the "business"

i want to play the beta but can't coz everytime i press select to look at the scoreboard the games freezes

how the f**k did this ever get released in the state it currently is in?

But there are issues that are not detectable in Testing (Inhouse)
For an example Seddons issue,

Well with lets say 100 people test this there is not much overload in the Scoreboard to see what issues can arise,

Only now when there are 1000's of people testing this can they now see an issue in the code for the scoreboard
Hence BETA Testing

The Freezing you guys are all getting, well again part of BETA testing, all this is uncovered in BETA,
Now Yes its the Same Engine as BFBC2, and they get the same issue,
Well only on One Map Really and thats because as they have explained before they have maxed out what the console / engine / code can handle.

And at points when flying your pushing it to the max, sure at some points a A angle and B Heigh you will get the most information processing in one go and hence the bigger chance in crashes (Around C and D and also A at times)

the Crashing in this game might be something completely different Could be the servers that is causing it, Overload? Could be clash in arrays or other forms of code,

Could be multiple things, now sure yes its gona happen in the full game but am pretty sure its going to be as often as it happens in BFBC2 and thats not all that often (Unless your flying)

I aint saying the game is great, and it aint got its issues,
But things like crashing etc is down to tweaking its not a major code change,
so why bitch about it so much
(Am not quoting you guys BTW just everywhere i read people slander this game and give no reason other than crashes)

Its not as if they are going to redesign 9/10 of the game to fix these issues,


The other issues you talk about that it lacks in well yer thats the game itself what can you say,
Just winds me up when people bad mouth a Developer or anyone when a program or Game or anything is not Released and is in BETA Development,
for the crashes etc etc etc


I was doing some BETA Testing for Mozilla in the new Browser for HTML 5 a few months ago (Minefield)
People that bad mouth this and complain of crashes and memory leaks and issues when processing HTML5 code why release this shit etc etc its kinda like well why use something thats only half developed and moan about it the reason it was released was to find these issues, or they would charge you or release a demo fdor you to test......

In my opinion, a high frequency of crashing is indicative of bad engineering. The final product will be full of bugs - I'll put money on it. I doubt it will crash as much as the beta, if at all. But there will be issues, I'm sure of it.

yup the game is pretty poor overall.
It's that simple - i've tested every main title thats come out whether kz2, bf, modnation, uncharted, eyepet, psn store games, home, whatever, they all are exactly the same - still have the same issues that the beta had, if you think its ever going to change you live in cookoo land.
