This is bad, a 30 minute games and 20 minutes waiting for the games/racers to load.
AND THATS AFTER THE PATCH!
The weapon sheild doesn't protect you at all, and worst of all - It cannot connect to the online world.
Also when you win a race in career mode, you get kicked back to the create a kart/racer section, then to race again, you have to drive back to the career gate, and wait an eternity for it to load again!

Oh dear - the loading into the "main menu" was the biggest nail in the coffin for me in the beta, and it's sad to see that such a game breaking thing made it to the final product for zero use other than to alienate people.

Bad show. They should patch in an option for a traditional menu system that loads in like 2 seconds. Even Monster Hunter has a quick load option which means that you don't need to load your character model on the character selection screen. And that's only a tolerable load that you only see once per game session.

I'm getting this game shortly, was guna go into town, but i can't be bothered today.

Also dunno about loading, its not that bad, maybe 40secs max, its hardly "massive unplayable" like some people are saying lol.

What can you do in 30-40 secs? make a half trip to the toilet, get up out the chair and walk through the door, etc etc..

Game is pretty good, so much more to do than the beta... i think its pretty good overall.
