I've just spent about 30 minutes phoning around various game stores.
Game, Gamestation, Asda Leeds x2, Bradford x2, Halifax, and wakefield.
No one has even got stock yet, let alone lifted the embargo or started to sell early.

So ignore the rumours, its probably bollocks anyway.

I could have picked it up from a independent an hour ago. :wow:

we've only one indie left in Halifax, and he no longer stocks new games. All he does now is pre-owned.

i'm not to bothered what version of the game i get, i'll be very happy just playing the game on friday night

small job in seaford on friday morning, then a trawl round the shops in eastbourne on the way back

proper play should start after 3 pm when i back home having picked the kids up from school

well thats the idea anyways!

Dilema: What to do?
Do I go to Asda and but BFBC2 for possibly around £25 tonight at 12am?
Or
Do I get it from Game tomorrow at 9am for £39.99 BUT I get the L.E.

Is it worth getting the limited edition?

I like the limited edition - dunno if I'll use all the unlocks, but it's nice to have more options. And for the sake of a couple of hours, I'd say it was worth getting the LE.

Cheers Seddon, but what I was asking is ... are they worth it? You do get them when you finish ranking up.
I suppose they are, just for the tank secondary fire.
But the pistol and the rifle could come in very handy.


Also, the tracer dart. I'm not sure if an engineer repairs a vehicle, and repairs it on the spot where the dart hit, the dart is removed.
Anyone come across this happening?
It might just be a graphical but that removes the image of the dart, but not it's purpose.

well i aint fussed tbh, i don't know about the guns but the other gear is all unlockable anyways isn't it?

I think it's all unlockable when you hit Brig-Gen.
Not 100% sure though.

yeah easy to get unlocks, u get half of them by rank 8 anyway! about 20,000 points..
u get

defib unlocked
engineer tool
alt fire
armour
some guns

all unlockable by at least rank 8.

Then u have others to get in game light bandoleer type ammo pack, lightweight armour, etc etc..

dudes! the game owns.. no doubt about it!!

the le is a great "gimmick" for unlocks right from the off and if yur a bf vet u get soem ww2 guns... this is a great purchase for me,it hasnt let me down yet..

btw graphics are very beta-like which i think are better, there are some god damn lush maps ooo yeah.. isa innocentes on rush is spectacluar..actama desert on conquest is my fav at the moment.. hind heli makes an appreance in rush aswell, honestly cant wait to get some sqauds on the blend!!
