I wouldn't go mad on the game, but i do like it - its different from the other run of the mill games.

I think i could see myself playing this, i more intrested in other modes in the full game though.. we should all get on tonight for laugh!

it works pretty much 100% when 4 or more are in a group.
Myself, infinite, grobbie and 2 of infinites mates were in a group , found games every 80 seconds, so its all good.

They were sweet games. We need to get a mass Mess Hall group going, maybe with captures from as many different angles as possible. If anyone's up for this, send me a message - I'm loving this demo. The game has just gone into my definite purchase category.

I can't get to grips with the alien, but Sym seems to manage just fine (like how you chose that game mate l0l). Same with the predator - I like it when I can find the shoulder cannon, but other than that just give me a pulse rifle and I'm happy.

Really looking forward to the full game now...especially Infestation mode. I've a feeling that is going to kick ass. So come on Mess Hall - get into this chicken shit outfit!

lol yup really enjoyed those games last night, the suspense is great lol.

Just noticed IGN gave it an 8.5... I haven't read the review yet, but I'm not cancelling my pre-order.

I was'nt impressed by the multiplayer one bit.
It was ok, but thats as far as I'd go.

But if the SP is as good as the PC version was years ago, then it will be brilliant and scarey as hell.

MP is pretty dead now I'm afraid - it was hard enough to get a game in release week, but mainly cos the matchmaking sucked, not because there weren't players.

Yeah I hate online related trophies for that very reason.

I bought Fuel in Tescos for £15 - great game, but completely dead online.

It does seem kind of random which games survive online and which don't. But I can't say I'm surprised AvP died so quickly given it's ranked matchmaking issues, and lack of depth. But I am surprised that Split/Second died so quickly. But again, it lacks depth.

Alot of people use the online trphy glitch, without going online for fuel...since its dead and imposssible to get, you might wanna try that lol.

I saw some sort of trophy exploit for it, but was under the impression it gave you all trophies except the online ones...? But to be honest, I'm not that desperate for trophies - I'm OCD enough to platinum a game that is possible, and I'll whore the odd one or two that are otherwise ridiculous, but I think I would devalue my trophy collection if I start obtaining them through other means.

also @ AVP, the game is what i would call "flash in the pan" or a "niche game" where there is a big following at first, then it dies off to a very small following.

Shame I really never got to test this game out. The vids look cool, and it sounded fun.

But by the sound of it now I would never get a game if I did get it
