Whats the point in making a very detailed and spectacular looking game if it plays like a dog?
I've just booted up GT 5 Prologue and man it's absolutely crap compared to other racers.
Motorstorm 1+2 are better, so is GRiD, hell rocket powered battle cars feels better.
Hell, you can drive around with touching the steering wheel.
Sorry, it's off my Christmas list.

I love ma driving games - and hate Gran Turismo. I played 3 a lot on PS2 (mainly because it came with the PS2 and said so on the box so I couldn't trade it in). The rally sections actually really good. Mainly because they handled properly.

Fine, maybe it's super realistic that if you're doing 120mph and yank the wheel the car will go straight, but I'm pretty bloody sure I could also throw a car sideways and roll it... Not in Gran Turismo.

Gran Turismo feels all the time like any other racer does on ice or dirt. And with other racers also looking better and better, Gran Turismo can continue to disappear up it's own sphincter as far as I'm concerned.

And what's with releasing a demo for £20 how many years before the full game? Fuck off.

its also a great pity that damage in the full game is limited to certain vehicles but not all

for me i couldnt care less about damage, but if you gonna implement damage, it should be on ALL cars not just some

Especially in a game where you will spend 90% of your time driving full tilt into walls.
