FF3 Crashing

Every page I open up wher you have A Windows video file - my browser crashes.
Is it me or is it you?

What video? what application? is it media player, google video?

the application call is windows media player, with a pluging to FF.
try disabling the plugin first.
upgrade to wmp11
remove the plugin, reinstall the plugin.

but I have wmp11
where will the plugin that needs to be disabled be?

it's in firefox
tools
add-ons
plugins
disable all that say windows media player
go into control panel, remove the windows media player plugin for firefox
then reinstall

same hapened to me, crashed me browsers.. its the addon its trying to force install it and your (well in my case) my anti virus blocks it then stops the process... boooo!
not a good idea tbh.

Couldnt find facilty to remove the wmp plugin from a "control panel" but removed it from within FF.
Just to be sure I reinstalled wmp 11 again.
Folowed the link for plug in.
It now plays as quicktime. (?) which is fine with me, as long as it stops crashing.

strange, I tried to use embed them with the QT player, but it didnt work, now your saying that it only works that way for you?
I'll delete the video players and just add a download link I think.
Does anyone have the bbcode for QT video and QT mp3? The mp3 needs only a player bar, while video needs a small window.
BTW Sy, I looked at phpmotion, and even installed it, but even though the program is free, the extra's are'nt, so I removed it.

ok, recoded the bbcodes, there's two for quicktime
qtaudio
qtvideo
I've changed the manson vids from wmp to qt
only trouble is, it now downloads rather than streams.

Control panel
add remove programs
remove windows media player plugin for firefox
reinstall from the link above.
