Jesus, they have no artists in the fucking company or they are 5 year olds with crayons. Fucking poor poor graphics and animation. The guy chucks grenade and you can see fucking sprite just reducing in size as it supposedly flies away also unrealistically slow.
So bad graphics bad artwork BAD physics. Bad bad bad. Annoying hud too, with all those fucking semi-circles in the middle when you are not getting hit just to show you gunfire? Get fucking real there are stereo speakers for that.
I can see it being hyped like Killzone2 and it sure will have its followers that do not appreciate a fine FPS like Battlefield, but I'm pretty sure I won't be getting it.

Give it chance KK
The maps are MASSIVE, they need to be for 256 players, and it's not even gone beta yet.

I think someone got out of the wrong side of bed, or is still bitter about KZ2...
Looks all right to me. I like the fact that it's stealing the persistent war idea from EndWar, although I hope it doesn't come with the same problems that had (don't see why it should).
And anything that has people fast-roping out of choppers imediately gets +2 from me lol.
Can't wait to try it... Of all the shit I have to play at the moment, an FPS isn't among them (Fallout 3 doesn't count).

To be perfectly honest,
if the game play and how stable it is, is good, then graphicly i would not be too fussed,
aslong as its not piss poor,
and from the vid it looks pretty ok.
Who wants an over powerd graphical game, with 100's of people on a server and multiple crashes and lagg

IMHO good graphics are just the icing on the cake of a great game.
It's just that games marketing through the 90s tried to drum into us that good = pretty. Have you also noticed how screenshots on the back of the box take a back seat these days too...?

1. I know BFBC was completed over a year ago
2. It supports 24 players MAX
3. It is nice and smooth, animations are great.
4. MAG is'nt even finished yet and already you dont like it.
5. Mag Supports 256 players
6. I'll get play it before you.
7. You're scared of change, scared that MAG might just be better that BFBC and that's just not allowed now is it.
:slow:

There is no right or wrong - it yours and ours opinions, not boolean facts.
IMO a game can be great even if the player model is a cube. A great game to play is NOT the same as a great game to look at.
Case in point: Chuckie Egg (download it!) - shit graphics, still fucking awesome...

The gameplay on the vid looked lame, I wouldn't last 10 minutes. No teamwork to be seen, and that is for the game that supposed to have more teamwork than bfbc. But then I wasn't impressed with Socom beta, I played it for exactly 9.9 minutes. So yeah Zippppppppppppppper.

Zipper Interactive didn't do the piece of shit currently prancing around under the SOCOM banner.
They did however do the originals on the PS2 which had some solid netcode (in my limited experience). I'm still not put off this game... Yet.
And I don't know what you expect teamwork to look like lol. Especially in a video where the guy is clearly just demonstrating stuff - not actually playing to achieve objectives.
Although having said that, he did give his squad some targets, which is one thing from BF 2142 that I sorely miss on the console versions. If for no other reason than that it's an awesome source of XP.
If you want to pre-judge this game as shit on the very limited information we have, then nothing is going to (or has any right to) stop you.
But I'm a firm believer of "the proof is in the pudding"
