Xbox players reporting stupid lag - worser than bad company
This is not looking good.

I have been playing it most of the morning and can confirm it is a lag fest

just played bfbc, and thats still ok, for now.
who knows what the problem is, some are saying it will settledown??? WTF is that supposed to mean. It's not like they've installed new phone lines.

Anywho, I'll get the demo first.

I imagine it's like every other game, coupled with EA being tight assed with their servers. There's just too many people trying to play it at the same time. Because it's new.

I would be really surprised if it wasn't using netcode very close to BF: BC's. Does it have full team comms instead of just squad comms this time? That won't help if so.

I have faith that early lag issues will be quickly ironed out.

Lag is down to the datacenter? Ok.

That sounds reasonable - much like how BC spazzes out when you get a lot of screenshots trying to upload.

Guess they should worry more about the actual game than reporting back to the mothership. Pfff.

Damn it, first day only for xbox and their server is full. Then how come they can manage it tomorrow in PS3 :pissed_off:

Time will tell, I think it's good that it was released today for xbox only. I will let them really stress the system for us, and tomorrow should be smoooth!

give it a week untill people get bored with the lag and leave then less lag for us .

there's a poll up for PSN users, asking if we think it'll be ok for us tomorrow.
One guy replied it will be as psn users will only need one server.

Thers alot of sickheads on the ea forums from the EA US side at the moment.. not all of them but most of them are just people who flame and bait each other.. this is why GVD and team hardly ever post on the US forums because they are all young kids who think they know everyhting.

Ps3 vs xbox etc etc is all u ever here and it spoils the community.. its tiresome.

TBH on the ea uk forums - u see the same people (usernames) on some of my bf43 videos saying how much the xbox rules like a bunch of fucking cissy girls.

Its a shame the average IQ of an American teenager is 97 - where as english are 108 - what does that tell you they are just all for american shit and are blinded by anything else.

Also what gets me the most is that people still think technically the xbox is better - its not.. read the specs... its like trying to tell me that nike is not as good as asda shoes - its just not going to work for me lol.

It's annoying, they think that volume is everything.
It's not, quality vs quantity everytime. So what, we've got a smaller userbase, it's only because MS jumped the gun, released early to beat Sony, and loo what that got them... RROD.
Yes they have a better online system, but they pay for it.
They pay a fortune for a tiny HDD that will only ever work in an xbox, unless you destroy the casing.
They pay a fortune for a lot of MS hardware that 3rd party vendors are not allowed to produce, just so MS can make more money.
That to me is not in the best interests of the users.
We are blind to, we love to hate the ps3 at times, then forgive too easily.
Both systems have pro's and con's. But technically, PS3 wins hands down.
