Well the alpha has finished.
Overall after some time playing, unlocking stuff reaching rank 23 or something like that and a k/d of 2.1

it's OK.
The thing that spoilt the entire damn thing was the fucking map.
It's made for defenders, know what i mean.. snipers all over the shop aswell.. infact if i couldn't beat them - i joined in on the sniper fest at some points. (lol).
Some nice scopes though, however having assault with defib is just wrong, i don't know why they do it.
Graphics are all smoke and mirrors if you know what i mean by this and it trys to draw you in .. which it does.. lovely looking, some animations are the best you might see.
However, the core mechanics to me are a tad slow, it has a mirrors edge style to running/jumping, seeing ya legs n arms..
The overall feel is a bit slow though...
The vehicle on offer was lav-25 apc, felt like driving a tin bath on wheels.
Not very effective, and in more ways than one, the map again, very tight, you can't really use the vehicle to move around, the map was made for infantry, tight close combat, narrow tunnels and a "golden path" is this maps downfall, if you can't get through the tunnel to subway, you aren't going to win.
PC players are just as dumb on bf with no ammo drops/medics or shit all..
A feature i do like about being revived, you can choose whether to accept the revive or not, which i feel is a good add in from previous games from the series...it's not nie being revived in the middle of a firefight.
I think if you give me conquest and vehicles and some rush maps which are not so squishy, i think i can play the game.. couple that in with a ps3 controller and we have a new fps to play.
good:
The unlocks, ranks, battlelog are fun, exciting and you get a sense of acheivement.
The squad system is ok, but could do with some work.
Bad:
Map design on this alpah was terrible, many bugs too.
Core mechanics a bit slow, the menu systems are a bit copy pasta from MOH and the 3d spotting is a bit to much.
OVERALL:
Will i buy?
Yes.. but not for playing any rush map.
