Probably best not to get addicted to it just before you lose internet

A small review of almost everything.

Would it benefit or not? more for healer or something?
I will get this latest patch downloaded at some point and give it a whirl
I've been playing this game for a good month now and I was surprised at first at how little the issues that got on my tits with WoW hadn't really crossed over to this game. Now with a good exposure of the game I'm started to see a couple of things that are pissing me off.
1. Door blockers. The headquarters has a massive lobby to stand around with your finger up your ass. Why these cock heads choose to stand in doorways is beyond me, a part from just being a straight up asshole. If you're bored and have nothing to do in game... log-the-fuck-off and lessen the server stress for the betterment of people who have things to do in game. Go read a book. Don't stand around blocking the doorways and don't crowd vendors. Also, vendors are not ideal battle grounds for your little duels dickheads. No one wants to try navigating through your bullshit trying to click onto a vendor and accidentally picking up your stupid meteor you cast. Go somewhere else with that noise. Again, massive central lobby in the headquarters, don't need to bring your gormless bullshit over to doorways, vendors and mail areas. If I need to check my gear or journal and plot my next move, I go in a corner or jump on the rafters so I'm not in anyone's way.
2. Players being utter loot pigs and/or shopping for their other toons while doing alerts and duos. I was doing a duo run in the OMAC base, the player I was paired with had T1 and T2 armor items. A green chest item dropped, I know I didn't need it as I was wearing better; I knew that if I had better they certainly did as I recognized their T2 Superman chest armor and back armor from Power Girl. However, I didn't have the style of the item, so I greed on it. Because needing and wanting are two different things. I want the style but I don't need the armor piece, therefore I greed. This should be common game etiquette but not to this bitch. I got the glimpse of a need roll from them. They rolled need on a green while running around with T1 and T2 gear on. Fine, maybe he/she goofed, it happens. We beat down a few more guys, I notice they're a two-hander Fire user, somewhat similar to myself. A blue healer staff drops, I pass on it, he needs on it. A fire tank needs on healer gear. I didn't want as it's not relevant to my class but I officially took notice on this pig and their need happy ass. By the end of the duo he/she had rolled need on every item that dropped. Which I know from playing with them they certainly didn't fucking need it. That was by far the worst case I've had to date but not a lone case. It irritated the hell out of me. I know it's against forum policy to call out players - but I'm really fighting the urge to not expose this douche bag, loot whore to all of you.
One of the first things I do when grouping and duo'ing is watch the other players to see A.) What their weapon specialty is. B.) What their power set is. If I am running a duo with a duel pistol user and duel pistols drop - I pass on it because I know it's their specialty, not mine. If I see them use healing powers and a healing gear drops, again I pass on it. As its their specialty and not mine. Watching fire tanks need on healer gear and weapons they don't specialize in pisses me off... I know they are either being loot whores for the cash - which is what greed is fucking for. Or they are shopping around for their other toons, which again, is what greed is fucking for. Needless to say I write their toon's name down as well as their guild they're in, if I can - and those people who have such players in your guild, I'll tell you one thing; it really damages your league reputation by having these fuckheads in them. If I were you, I'd expel their asses from your guilds 'cause no one is going to want to join your league with loot pigs in them.
3. Players showing up to duos under powered and/or not playing their power set properly. Now this isn't a major offense, as admittedly I'm still new to this game and I am also still learning the mechanics of the game so I don't give others a hard time if they're still trying to feel out their character direction and what best suits their play style. That said, I'm developing an issue with those players using duos as testbeds. You're new? That's fine; this is your first duo, that's cool too but some things I know not to do as they should know with just a small effort of research and question asking. One of those is running around in PVE duos with PVP gear on trying to tank. It costs me cash to repair and precious colas that aren't cheap to keep buying on the account that you're out of your depth and have forced me to handle the bulk of a boss battle 'cause you're gormless. One thing that really pisses me off - new player or not - is busting open health barrels before triggering the boss in that area, leaving us with nothing for the fight but our own power buffs and colas, such an asshole move if there ever was one.
End rant.
