No ain't gonna happen for me until at least 8:30. Not until the kids are in bed.

I'm losing interest in this game ranked online now. Last night I kept getting matched against some guy who played a variety of nations and kicked the shit out of me with each one. I think I played him like 5 times. BattleKing I think his name was, and he was appropriately named.

I'll just finish off the campaign and then play friends online. I may as well resign myself to the fact that I ain't gonna platinum this game. Especially with ranked seeming to feel emptier and emptier, and the quality of opponent rising sharply as I climb the ladder.

Its the same on all Strategy games.

You just get some people who are CRAZZZZZYYYYY about these games
and play nothing but this game,

Same in any game though innit, u get the ppl who play them 24/7 and become very good, i dont even play this game unless mess-hall is playin, just like to play with friends, never fussed about trphies on any game.

But regarding my earlier post, I read an excellent article yesterday that restored my zest for ranked games. It made me realise I'm just in a period of transition LOL

I'vehad my bro and his kids around last 2 nights so been side tracked with that lot, i let my nephew use an alt account to play online, so ppl didnt send invite or think i was ignoring em lol.

But yeah, thats where i was.

Hey lads i know i dont play these games as i dont have a tactical mind but me and friend used to link our PS1s together to play red alert it was hillarious neither of us knew how to play but we just built up loads of forces and threw them at one another, although amusingly once he destroyed my whole base and i was left with one sub.

i kept surfacing and firing a missile and then dissapearing and all he could hear was the sound effects of the sub surfacing and firing, it lasted 15 mins, "where the fuck are you gav!!! come on mate!! face me!!!"

in the end he only found me by bombing the shit out of the ocean :XD

LOL you used to get that on the original C&C against AI too - bombed his base all to hell, then spend hours trying to find the cloaked jeep he had parked somewhere on the map.

Red Alert 3 on PS3 ended when all your buildings were dead I think...

Anyone got the DLC? I haven't yet because it was initially on the store for £5.49 so I though fuck that as I thought it was supposed to be free. Turns out the price was a mistake and it has now been corrected to be free (although I haven't verified this).

Apparently it gives some new maps (2 maybe?) plus...

...nuclear artillery for multiplayer. Dave should be happy as a pig in shit.

Especially if we agree to a no arty game.
