i've had the game since 10am this morning and haven't been able to play, got up went to town, then back home opened some presents and cards etc, then i'm now looking after the cooking until family gets in, just keep popping upstairs here n there, once tea is cooked and eaten, i'll be good to play lol.. dying to play too

fucking bosses in this game are hard pmsl.

I've been stuck on this one boss for ages... really annoying me now.
It's not the boss really that kills me its the fucking arrow guys on the tower GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR FFS WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesh i got them in the end.. seems there is a ladder right next to the door behind u, the problem is its the same colour as the wall... boss comes charging at you .. took me a while to figure it out.

However.. the game is like 3 x harder on here it's like playing ng++++++++++ from level 1, pmsl.
It's a bit frustrating at the moment.

I am not to keen on the open word aspect at the moment, you end up in areas you know u shouldn't be in, and there is no fast travel like nexus.. so if u walk for miles only to realise you need to go back is pretty horrible lol.

The graphics are really nice much better than eurogamer demo, some great new features..

Bonfires - similar to checkpoints/nexus u sit next to it, replenish and if you have bought items or whatever u store them and fix/level up things.. saves alot of messing about loading

Bosses- great designs, i have fought 3 so far and they ain't easy at first until u pick up how to do it.. as u can imagine it took a few go's to try.

I suggest you

take the left stairs after the tutorial or else you will be in deep shit

so that will help.

Dragons are back, fearsome than ever, red eyed knights.. they got upgraded - hit hard BUT easy to beat.

In this orchard area where i am now is...

this fucking 1 hitting bitch of a mage, watch him he fucking smacks u one lol, hes not even a boss.. uses HEAVY SOUL arrow

not cool.

Alot of customisation options from charcter to armour to spells and the magics system is completly new, i like it.

Anyways, its hard and struggling aa bit at the mo, but soon as i level up and get used to it it will be pretty decent.

1 major flaw though...

the game freeze alot, like 6 times in 2 hours today ...

I got my receipt email yesterday, but checking today it's status is still "processing". They can stick their £3 compensation up their arse if it's not here by Friday. Which means it had best dispatch today...

Are you farming areas for souls, or just soldiering on? Don't forget it's a Japanese game, so farming is probably mandatory...

@ states well i have managed to accumulate 25,000 souls so far, then died at the boss, trudged through back to the boss and died before i could pick it up lolz!
I wasn't happy

i'm lvl 20 at the mo, so i'm just trying to level up slowly because
A: i don't want to go to far ahead
B: I've died alot
C: no good farming spots yet



I like the game though, a little tough but it will get better as i learn all the new stuff.

heres a weird feature - if u get this disease an "eggy growth" appaers on your head and it affects your health and eats some of your collected souls, so far i haven't had it.. but that can't sound good lol.

got to blight town yesterday - hate this area.
Reminds me of 5-1 in demons souls x 50 difficulty.

Not only that, they do these lunge attacks and rip your head off basically. blood all over the shop lulz.

Then these trolls, which smash you into oblivion, lol, be a bit easier if you had a little more stamina.
