Shit man, thats bad news. I really hope you can get sorted and soon Coda, I really do.
My ex-next door neighbour lost his job today too. But they have a tiny mortgage, and one of their sons is going to buy the house for the remainder, then rent it back to them. Hopefully pennine housing will then pay the rent, so in reality, they could be better off.

So whats short time Coda? They've cut your hours because of illness? Or does it mean they are making cutbacks until work picks up again?

nah I'm on short time as there is no work in the office for us to get our teeth into. I worked half day today - which was convenient any way as I was at hospital for check up this afternoon. In full day tomorrow but then i play it by ear. Dont know from one day to the next.
Mortgage is fine - as we have a small house, (and a lodger thankfully) but I eat a lot and drink loads of alcohol so we're doomed! : )
Hoping things will be ok in a month or so.
