Dark Souls Easy Mode Comments Were ‘Mistranslated’
Namco Bandai says current difficulty will be maintained.
Namco Bandai says comments about an easy mode coming to Dark Souls were “mistranslated” and that the current difficulty will be maintained. Earlier this week, Dark Souls director Hidetaka Miyazaki was quoted as saying “I am thinking about whether I should prepare another difficulty that everyone can complete or carefully send all gamers the messages behind our difficult games,” but Namco Bandai now tells Metro this is incorrect.
According to Namco Bandai, the correct quote should read “I am thinking about how to make everyone complete the game while maintaining the current difficulty and carefully send all gamers the messages behind it.” A spokesperson added that “this revision has been made in order to inform Miyazaki-san's true intention and what has been originally posted had a mistake because of mistranslation."

Final boss of the DLC walkthrough (although by all accounts, it's not the hardest boss in the DLC by a long shot).

played this last night for about an hour xD.
Took my level 115 faith guy into anor londo, dropped me co-op stone and got ALOT of co-op.
A few people invaded, so funny watching them goin for backstabs, being vets we all are - we know how to avoid it, except for the lagstab ones, got took out by a guy called "xxtkinisno" or something, jap probably... backstabbing lagging bastard lol.
Went on my tank guy, level 37 got a few co ops but it seemed quite dead at that level, i think people play hollow alot at this level.

PMSL i had a go at that about a month ago,
I started it up and thats where i last was in Human form.
Took out 6 people crossing with my Super Bow LOL
then a red phantom Joined, Clocked onto what i was doing, and helped me, He would kill them, and if he thought they where too much of a match he would run up, hide behind me, and i would shoot them off as they walked up Funny as fuck lol.
Then it went quiet for ages.
Defo think we should get back on this
ill have some spare time next week as Kim is going home for a little before she goes back to durham, so can have a blast at this in the week if your up for it

Any news when the dlc is coming to ps3, really want to play this now.
Sys, charlie fancy a few games of this next week? Brush up in prep for the new content?

Last I heard it was out at the end of this month (25th off top of my head).
I fired it up recently - I've got so many characters on the go lol. I would love to join with you guys, but I find the PvP trolling a bit boring TBH. But when it comes to boss progression I'm on it!

Don't have to troll, can have a ng+ play through on our higher characters
Need to brush up if its out any day soon

Yeah I'd be up for that (as I was doing it anyway lol), although I don't put the PS3 on much these days, and if I do it's to play Borderlands 2... Until XCOM releases

I noticed it appeared on the store yesterday for a tenner, and I bought it, but haven't tried it yet. Anyone else got it?
I'm also wondering why it was only a 100kb download...? If that shit has been on the disk since release, FromSoftware can fuck right off.
