Pisser about that back stab tho, only thing thats really peeving me off in this game, i can deal with a God of Wrath Spam 3 - 6 times till i die, Its a fair tactic and my own bad for leaving me open for it.
But a Backstab you cannot do nothing, and its soo glitchy its unreal!

Do the same again tonight, Get States in the world too!!!

After you guys went offline, I figured I would quickly nip to the Archives and try and get the sweet crossbow I've been coveting this playthrough: Avelyn. And so begins my tale of woe...

So I get into the Archives, owning NPCs with plenty of rings of sacrifice to protect my stash of 1.5 million souls. Then I discover Avelyn lies behind the first encounter with Seath that essentially forces you to die.

No problem I think - I don a ring of sacrifice, strut into Seath's room and just take the first shot he fires until I die. Then it goes pear shaped...

I was expecting to respawn in the prison with all my souls and merrily continue on my way, but oh no. My souls were dropped, despite the ring breaking. Plus, the only message I got was that I was now cursed despite the curse bar not filling up before my death (ProTip: use a rare ring of sacrifice when you first face Seath).

OK, so there I am, in prison, cursed with no cure, with my 1.5 million souls lying in a puddle in Seath's first lair. I know I can't just go back there and get them as Seath will still be there until he is killed. I figured first things first - cure the curse. I'll just warp out using this bonfire, get the curse cured and kill Seath. "This bonfire is detached from the others and cannot be used to warp." Great.

So of I trundle, soldiering through the level as normal. The archers take 3/4 of my health making them a stressful annoyance. The mages soul arrow is a one hit kill, but luckily I spent a few souls getting my crest shield to +5 before coming here, so I can tank those. But needless to say, I got killed a couple of times getting shot in the back or at random from higher walkways. But by and large, progress was good.

But then I spied Avelyn - luring me to make an attempt. This cost me about half of my sacrifice rings as the drop killed me in my cursed state if I didn't land on the bookshelf. And you need to drop from a moving platform... But then I did land on the bookshelf, but the two archers on the stairs had respawn and were staggering their shots, which left me crouching behind a shield, with no armour on, and about 15% health wondering how the fuck I was going to open this chest before I got shot in the back and killed... Death.

So I did what I probably should have done long ago, and gave up on Avelyn and just went to complete the level. No major traumas until the clams just before Seath... The majority of their attacks are one hit kills, so they whittles my remaining sacrifice ring supply down until I lost the final one to the first golem in the caves that pushed me off...

1.5 million souls down, still cursed, no Avelyn to show for it and still not in bed before 3am. Nooooooooooob.

I guess you never had any stones on you for Curing a curse.
I have WAY too many of them now Just incase hehe!!

I cannot believe your Ring never worked, It must be a Scene instead of some sort.
That does suck big time, So now i think am going to spend them all before attempting that myself now.

Am going to head in there when i get back from work later, and activate that second camp fire (I will spend all my souls first lol)
So if you still want a Hand i can meet you there at that second fire when you come online and we can both do it
and if sys is online all 3 of us.

Sounds a hard level with the 1 hit one kills, I hope my Tank Armour gives me a heads up on that now.

Am going to Max a few shields. and see if i can make that Siths Shield and other Sword.
And get that Crest and Dark Night Shield to +5 and any other shield that works well in Stats.

Silver Knight Shield. (Amazing Stability) (76)
Dark Night Shield. (Great Fire Defence)
Crest Shield. (Magic Defence)

Greatshield of Artorias Super Amazing Stability (88) 100 Physical, 50 Magic, 80 Fire, 40 Lightening.

(Dont see the Stats increase when you + it, Only Damage lol!! Pointless)

Anyway I might use that shield, but i would have to loose my Dragon Bow being equip t the same time.
So Dark Night Shield and Crest Shield am going to +5 for Stability,
and use both of them in my game from now on.

Once i killed my souls of Resources and Stones, Am ready to rock on with that Level

I went to level 111 last night in the end, lol.
Its about 600k for that lvl.

States - faith divine weapon+5 breaking into occult seems to have higher physical damage from the weapons, but at level +1 uchi i am not far off my +8 divine claymore.

I am also making a occult zweihander - already touching 500dmg at +1 occult.

Occult changes weapon to B scaling for faith, not all weapons but some.

I'm quite liking my dual katana build, but it was supposed to be a faith build. I'm tempted to use my 4th and final character slot to re-create my dual katana build, but with stats geared for it...

Co-Oped with someone in NG.... lmao! Someone invaded and i smashed him to bits! i ran through his level with a one hit kill on pretty much everything.

But that walk of death is great! just need to not be soo impatient and try and shoot too early and get them when am in line with them.

Funny as hell seeing them all fall to there death!!! That last night would of well been chuffed, 3 Million souls i was carrying!!!

Its ashame you cannot get Humanity while doing this too

Would be really good if We can Summon Charlie as Red,
He uses his Fists and comes up the top and makes it look like Sys and Charlie are fighting and ill roll around,

We got soo many noobs to start with, How many people where i able to kill with 2 / 3 hits and lock them in Stuns.
You never even got a chance to run over, Some Serious noobs.

Well after you went i went back on my 30 char and states helped me with a couple of bosses.
He went at bout 3am lol.

So i stayed up till gone 6am farming stones and going back and forth to anor londo blacksmith making boss weapons and lightning shotel!.

Tee hee, fuck stats scaling is wank, my lightning shotel with no +'s does 334 damage, my zweihander +10 does 300 - crap scaling innit?

If i add lightning to zweihander its 504 damage and that's no +'s.

I suspect the shotel will be around 500 maxed out, but the bonus is, it's quick, stun lock weapon and ignores shields... so yeah .

Absoultly massacred the anor londo bosses, i got 2 co-op dudes in 1 was running around with smoughs hammer and the other dual washing poles (lightning) so they obviusly are specialised builds and have played the game a few times.. took about 2 minutes to beat the entire boss fight

I created queelaags fury sword which scales with humanity but i don't have alot of humanity at level 31..so it's not much use right now.

MY max for this char will be about 50 and deffo no more.
just gunna pump the rest into vitality and end, since i have my weapons i'll be using for this char.

After all that i headed over to the maneater area and had lots and lots and lots of co-op - but the hosts kept dying even though i was killing the bosses so easy.

Next for me is four kings, need invading stone for trolling lvl 30's.

Dave that trolling walk of death is great, so many people died, k/d was like 45/2 LMAO

You could pop back to Sen's and collect the other one to try paired fire and lightning
I think I'm gonna put fire on mine because it seems to do slightly more damage, but then people tend to have higher fire resistance than lightning...


Stat scaling doesn't come into it's own until higher levels, which is why the community caps at about 120... It's a shame because it just means everyone is using maxed out elementals with full endurance and health. If the level cap were higher, say 250, I reckon there would be a lot more variety and interesting builds because stat scaling would exceed elemental.

yep you are right the cap is why the elemental always wins, the same reason they are OP at low levels aswell.

I went back to sens to get the shotel, i haven't joined that forest hunter stuff, i'll leave that.

I might go on ruse later though aswell, anyone fancy it? or C&C?
