@InfiniteStates Yep, that is an awsome actioner from begining to end.
Back on topic to Haven, no one seems to recognise her, and if you heard her voice, you'd definately know it... but from where?
A family looks to prevent evil spirits from trapping their comatose child in a realm called The Further.
Thoughts:
I great horror-thriller i thought.
I wasn't expecting much but the film was a little spooky actually and overall delivered a good dark story.
It's about a boy who can astro project himself into a spirit world but he doesn't know he's doing it, he thinks they are dreams.
He then gets lost and a demon trys to steal his living body, it's well executed i think.
There is a chilling scene involving a baby monitor, that you just don't see coming and it was quite sppooky i thought.
Watch it, i think this film is pretty decent!

I agree its a OK Horror,
I watched this not expecting much,
The problem i had with this Film was the repetitiveness of the Jumping Scenes.
As great as it is to jump and shit yourself watching a horror, but you do it too often it dont have the same effect,
It comes as you would say Predictable, and no longer makes you Jump.
Where your average film has about 3 - 4 Jump Scenes,
This must have around 20 maybe 30,
But after the 3rd its no longer Jumpy........
Watched this last night not a bad plot actually.
It's a thriller and basically the guy lives a happy life and he then finds a picture of hiself on a missing persons website and confronts his parents about it.
His mum admits that she isn't his real mother and at that point some agents come into it and kill his parents who really are undercover CIA/Government.
The kid goes on a journey to find out who he really is and why he is on this website, it turns out the website is fake and is setup by the "bad guys" so they can use him as a pawn for some secret info his real dad stolen.
It's got quite a good story to it and i thought the film was actually quite good.
It kinda has that filming direction of a bourne film - kinda.

No aliens then? What a disappointedly misleading title!
I quite liked this.
It's about another comic charcter thor, he is a cocky sod and likes war, he causes some problems and is cast to earth without his powers by his father (sir a. hopkins), to learn some lessons.
On earth he has to learn about his mistakes and life etc, meanwhile his borther finds out that he was adopted and this is why he can never be king, the problem is thors brother is a frost giant baby (which are the enemies to thor and the kingdom).
So basically his brother causes thors father to have a heart attack and allows dark forces to invade earth, of course thor has to defend earth without his powers, but because he learned his mistakes thors hammer is reunited with him and he becomes THOR the god of thunder on earth and sets out to defend it, he returns home and ends up fighting his brother..
Some good action packed scenes, but also a little to much story telling, i think this is another sequel bound movie.
Overall not bad, if u are a fan of comics you will deffo like this too.

A down on her luck woman, desperate to provide care for her daughter, moves in with her father in-law from whom she is estranged. Through time, they learn to forgive each other and heal old wounds.
I thoroughly enjoyed this film, mostly because I think it's the kind of life I'd like to live... outside of society and close to the wilderness.
But it's got a good story and excellent acting from everyone involved.
Worth a look, and probably a revisit.

Forks Over Knives.
This film might actually save your life!
Examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods.
Amazing documentary about processed food/meat, and animal products.
Several gravely ill patients undertake a clinical study - over 20 years ago, to determine if a change iin diet and nutrition can help them survive.
They were told by their doctors to prepare to die, they had undergone multiple heart surgies and had lost all hope. Until they were invited to undergo this test. Most were only given months to live, yet 20 years later they feel better and are healthier than ever.
I'm so impressed and convinced that as of Monday next week I'm switching to a 99.9% vegan diet.
The only animal product I'll consume is milk... I still need it in my tea and coffee.

Just watched a classic... BIG.
you know the old Tom hanks movie from the 80's?
I used to love it in my 20s, but I've not seen it in years, and while it's aged a bit, it's still one of the funniest films Tom hanks ever made, and one of the best of all time.

House M.D.
I am definitely late to this party... or am I?
I love watching TV episodes back to back, and now that House M.D. is past season 6, I've got plenty to watch so it's perfect for my style of viewing. Only annoying thing... Hugh Laurie's fake American Accent, but of you can get past that, it's actually an excellent TV drama/comedy.
An antisocial maverick doctor who specializes in diagnostic medicine does whatever it takes to solve puzzling cases that come his way using his crack team of doctors and his wits.

Next up... Lost:
The survivors of a plane crash are forced to live with each other on a remote island, a dangerous new world that poses unique threats of its own.
I started watching Lost when it originally broadcast back in 2004 (was it really that long ago?), and was really taken in, especially after the first episode. But by season 3 the constant flashbacks got to annoying, they sometimes wasted almost an entire episode without moving the story forward one jot.
But thanks to the the internet time machine (piratebay) anyone can now watch all the episodes and skip the shitty ones. So maybe now, finally I'll have some answers.
